Wedding Weekend

It's a big weekend for weddings coming up. I am EXCITED!

Getting married today apparently, is Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch. I have my doubts about Peter, but Abbey I love. Don't write this wedding off, she's got great taste, and she's beautiful, so she's going to look amazing in whatever she wears.

Starting their 2 day wedding tomorrow is Prince Albert of Monaco and his soon to be wife, Charlene Wittstock. Without a doubt this will be one of the most high profile weddings of the year, guests rumoured to be on the list include Karl Lagerfeld, Sir Philip Green and Claudia Schiffer. This will definitely be one starry affair.

And finally, who could overlook 'Moss-stock', the 3 day festival-style wedding of La Moss to The Kills' Jamie Hince starting tomorrow in the gardens of her home in the Cotswolds. Not only is it rumoured that Beth Ditto, Snoop Dogg and Kanye West are going to perform, but that she's having a whole tent set up filled with vintage Ossie Clark dresses for her female guests to wear. O. Em. Gee. Must be the hottest invite in town. Cannot wait for the pictures.

Congratulations to the happy couples.

Wedding Rings

So, I'm not actually looking at rings for myself yet, I think that's something that can wait nearer to the wedding, but some really interesting and unusual wedding rings have been catching my eye lately. It turns out that, although the tradition is to have a plain band, that doesn't mean your ring can't be a little bit unique and special to you.

The first ring is definitely vintage, a beautiful simple gold band, but with ancient love symbols. I love the slightly bashed gold. I also love thinking about who was wearing it before, such history is always romantic.

The second ring is just a simple engraving that I'm sure you could get engraved on any wedding band, but the words I love. "Put Me Back On". Amazing. Would bring a smile to your face every day. Lovely.

And last but not least. Who doesn't like a secret message? Yoon Jung Yun definitely does. The messages are inside the ring and imprinted on your finger when you take it off. Such a simple and sweet idea, yet no one's thought of this before. Check out his website here, and look at his amazing site, the most popular message seems to be 'always', but you can design your own too.

Enjoy!

P.s. I am GIDDY about Kate Moss' wedding tomorrow, will update you as soon as images come through. Although, she's signed a deal with Vogue, so we may be waiting a while. Boo.

Sarah Seven

I can't remember how I stumbled across this website, but Sarah Seven does the most beautiful handmade dresses using natural fabrics, some of them even recycled vintage fabrics as well. She does stock in a few US stores, but you can order online, she just needs your measurements, and after 4 months, voila!

If I'm still struggling to find a dress at Christmas, this is definitely an option. With the shorter dresses starting at $455 you can get a beautiful longer dress for $1,500.

It's definitely worth checking out, if only for inspiration. Some of my favourites are below.

Enjoy!

And I Thought My Proposal Was Romantic

If you have a spare 6 minutes at work, please give this amazing video a watch. The video is accompanied by an article explaining what's going on, but to cut a long story short: a guy has somehow put his video proposal on a cinema screen that his girlfriend is watching.

You have to watch. It gave me goosebumps.

Happy Monday!
