I guess traditionally when you think of weddings, you think of white, creams, golds and nude colours. But the more I've been looking around, the more I've found some beautiful examples of incorporating colour into your day. And why not hey? What a great way of brightening up a winter wedding, or complementing a beautiful sunny day.
I'm off on holiday now, but check out these beauties. What a great way of doing your table plans? Each table a different colour. A-mezzing.
Enjoy, see you in 2 weeks

Home or Away?
Preparing for my impending holiday to New Zealand has got me thinking about the age old question when it comes to location...home or away?
For us it was quite a tricky one, we've been lucky to have some amazing holidays to far flung exotic places which hold really great memories, as well as trips around the UK with special meaning to us, but when it came down to it, home won. How come? Well....money I guess. You'll find very few weddings where none of the guests have to travel, there's always going to be a few pesky relatives who've relocated, but to ask everyone, the whole shebang, to travel, stay in a hotel, book flights even, well that was too much for us. And weddings are a family affair aren't they? (so everyone keeps telling me anyway)
Part of me will always wish I could have the whole bare foot wedding in the sunset thing, although I've been bridesmaid at one of those shindigs so I guess I should let go of that fantasy really. But what's not romantic about sea breeze, the salty air and the cocktails.
I've put some images together which make me swoon. I love the coconut drinks idea...I wonder how you could incorporate that into a windy and rainy English summer wedding hmmmm....
Enjoy,

It's Wedding Month!
In honour of the upcoming Royal Wedding at the end of the month, Vogue's May issue is jam packed with the most beautiful people wearing the most beautiful dresses. Featuring new bridal wear designers, gift list ideas and honeymoon destinations, it's definitely worth buying, especially on this rainy Monday!
With 3 different covers featuring the 3 most lusted after models of the moment, I'm still working my way through the bad boy.
If you want a sneak preview, check out Vogue.com for a taste of what's in there. But for now...don't you wish you were here right now?
I do.

Honeymoon From Hell?
The latest thing on my to-do list is searching for some perfect honeymoon destinations. Seeing as you can't book more than a year in advance, and we'll be going in June 2012, there is no rush, but it's exciting looking for amazing hotels and sights to visit.
However, this article came to my attention, it's so bad it's funny...if you have one minute have a read.
Enjoy!

It's All Yellow
Sorry for the total lack of posts recently, work had become extremely busy which meant in the evenings the last thing I wanted to do was look at pretty pictures and put together some inspiration boards. God, I sound like a right miserable being, ah well :) I'm back on track now, and thought with this dull and grey weather everyone could do with some beautiful spring colours to look at.
Enjoy,
